Project/study or activity: | Concern Worldwide Bangladesh Urban Health Project in Saidpur and Parbatipur |
Description: | CWI has intervened in municipal health in Bangladesh since the 1970s. In 1998 the organization shifted its strategy from direct service delivery for urban slum populations using mobile clinics, to strengthening the municipal health system. CWI initially conducted a mid-term evaluation of this child survival project using the CSSA (Child Survival Sustainability Assessment) to assess its progress in developing a sustainable maternal and child health system. (See "Sustainability assessment in NGO-implemented primary health care programs" in Resources.) By its final evaluation |
